What this policy covers
Soar App lets people create accounts, post videos, reply with videos, follow/unfollow, and block/unblock other users. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to contact us.
Data we collect
- Account info: username, email, and optional profile details (e.g., photo, bio).
- Content: videos you upload or record and related metadata (e.g., length, resolution).
- Usage & device: app version, device type, IP address, language/time zone, diagnostics and crash reports.
- Interactions: follows, blocks, and other actions you take in the app.
How we use data
- Provide and improve Soar App and its features (upload, playback, recommendations).
- Keep accounts secure and prevent fraud/abuse.
- Send important account or security notices.
- Comply with applicable laws.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers that help us run the app (hosting, storage/CDN, analytics, email/push). They must protect the data and use it only for us.
- Legal/ safety reasons if required by law or to protect our users and service.
- Other users as part of normal app use (your profile and videos are visible based on your audience/settings).
Your choices
- Update profile details in the app.
- Delete videos you’ve posted.
- Delete your account in settings (removes your profile and content from public view; limited backups may remain for a short time for security/legal reasons).
- Block or unfollow other users.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards and HTTPS to protect data, but no system is 100% secure. Keep your login details private.
Children
Soar App is not for children under 13. If we learn we collected data from a child under 13, we’ll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date above.
